On Wednesday evening, reports began to spread on social media claiming that former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and his wife Dorcas Rigathi were missing.

According to the report that was widely shared, Cleophas Malala, who is a Deputy Party Leader in DCP, claimed that a tuk tuk was seen moving around Gachagua’s home at around 1:20 PM on Wednesday.

In addition, the househelp was also quoted in the reports, saying that the driver of the tuk tuk entered the house, caused some drama, and later left with Gachagua and his wife.
This statement made the story spread even faster, with many people believing that the couple had been taken under unclear circumstances.
However, it is important to note that this story is not true. The news was created as part of April Fools' Day to entertain and trick people.
