"Alitishwa Sana": Rigathi Gachagua Claims Late MP David Kiaraho Received Threats While Still Alive

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has made serious claims about the life of the late David Kiaraho before his death.

Speaking in Nyandarua County during the burial of the MP, Gachagua said that the deceased was living under fear and pressure.

He claimed that Kiaraho was receiving threats from some government officials while he was still alive. According to Gachagua, the threats were linked to politics. He said the late MP was targeted because he openly supported him.

He also claimed that Kiaraho refused to accept a bribe that was meant to influence him to support efforts to impeach him.

Gachagua said the MP stood firm and refused to be shaken, even with the pressure he was facing.

Gachagua went on to talk about their friendship. He described himself as one of the loyal friends of the late MP. He said Kiaraho was a brave leader who believed in truth and fairness.

He added that even though his friend is gone, he will continue to support his family and stand with them during this difficult time.

The former deputy president also called for peace during the burial ceremony. He urged residents to avoid political chants, especially those related to one-term politics.

Gachagua said the burial should remain peaceful and focused on honoring the life of the late MP, not political arguments.
