On Thursday, Kenyans were left shocked after a popular pastor from Kiambu County, Paul Kanethe, reportedly issued a strong warning to former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. This came after Gachagua exposed President William Ruto’s businesses in the country.
In a statement, the pastor said that God had shown him that Gachagua’s life was in danger. He warned that the politician should not sleep at his home that night and should instead find a safe place to hide.
Pastor Kanethe shocked many when he revealed what he claimed God had shown him about President Ruto’s plans. According to the pastor, Ruto was allegedly planning to have Gachagua arrested at his Wamunyoro home and taken to court.
The pastor further claimed that Gachagua would face charges related to hate speech once in court, which could result in jail time.
He added that President Ruto was reportedly angry with Gachagua for criticizing his government and for making statements that, according to the pastor, had damaged the president’s reputation.
The warning has sparked widespread reactions on social media, with many Kenyans expressing concern over the alleged threat.
