In Kiharu constituency, residents were left in shock on Monday evening after a form three student sent a disturbing message to her parents, threatening to take her own life. The drama unfolded after her 37-year-old boyfriend was arrested by the police.
According to reports, the boyfriend was arrested while they were walking together to a local shop to buy supper. The young girl had reportedly run away from home on March 4th and had been living with her older boyfriend, skipping school for weeks.
Following her boyfriend’s arrest, the student sent a chilling message to her parents, saying she no longer saw any reason to live.
She reportedly threatened that she would die the next day and asked her parents not to cry if she carried out her threat.
