In Nairobi County, a shocking incident occurred after a man was severely beaten and his hands broken for trying to help a police officer’s wife cross flooded roads.
The man had carried the woman on his back to help her reach the other side safely during heavy rains.
According to reports, while the man was helping, the officer became suspicious and thought something unusual was happening between him and his wife.
The officer, along with two of his colleagues, allegedly ambushed the man and beat him badly before arresting him.
Residents who witnessed the incident said the man cried loudly in pain as he was attacked.
