RIP: Sad as Another Kenyan Woman Reportedly Tortured by Russian Boss and Injected with Chemicals Over Salary Disagreement

Kenyans have raised concerns about how fellow citizens seeking job opportunities abroad are being mistreated, abused, or even killed by some employers.

On Tuesday, heartbreaking news emerged about a Kenyan woman who left the country in February this year to work in Russia.

According to reports circulating on social media, her boss reportedly reduced her salary without giving any reason. When she complained, the abuse and torture began.

The reports say she was beaten before being injected with chemical substances, which led to her death in the hospital. She was reportedly injected on her right arm, and so far, no arrests have been made.

Many Kenyans on social media have reacted with anger and sadness. This is not the first time a Kenyan woman has faced abuse abroad, and the story has once again sparked calls for stricter protection for citizens working in foreign countries.
