Pastor Kiengei Urges Worshippers to Stay at JCM After Pastors Exit Following Ruto’s Visit

Senior pastor David Kiengei of Jesus Celebration Centre Ministries (JCM) has urged congregants not to abandon their place of worship despite reports that several pastors have left the church following a recent visit by William Ruto.

Pastors Exit After Presidential Visit

The remarks come after a number of church leaders reportedly exited JCM after President Ruto attended a special church service hosted by the ministry.

Some pastors are said to have disagreed with the involvement of political leaders in church activities, prompting them to part ways with the ministry.

Call for Unity Among Worshippers

Speaking during a Sunday service, Pastor Kiengei reassured congregants that the church remains strong despite the departures.

He encouraged believers to remain committed to their faith and not allow leadership disagreements to weaken their spiritual focus.

“Our foundation is the Word of God,” Kiengei said while urging members to stay united and focused on spiritual growth.

According to him, the strength of the ministry lies not in individual leaders but in the collective faith and unity of its members.

Debate on Politics in Churches

The developments have sparked discussions on social media and within Christian communities about the role of political figures in church settings.

While the exact number of pastors who have left JCM has not been officially confirmed, the situation has generated debate among clergy and worshippers.

Pastor Kiengei encouraged believers to continue attending church services, participating in fellowship, and maintaining their spiritual commitment despite the recent leadership changes.

His message comes at a time when many religious institutions are grappling with the challenge of balancing their spiritual missions with interactions involving public figures.
