A man from Kitale, identified as Moses Kitambi, shocked residents and social media users after severely injuring himself. He reportedly chopped off both his hands and ears, claiming he did it to punish his girlfriend after hearing rumours that she was planning to leave him.
In a statement, the heartbroken man said that by losing his hands and ears, he would no longer be able to take care of his girlfriend. He added that this would teach her a lesson about how much he had done for her.
Moses also mentioned that the gifts and support he used to provide are no longer possible, and he believes this will make his girlfriend feel the consequences of her actions.
"Now she will understand my pain," he reportedly said.
