In Nairobi County, along Mombasa Road, panic broke out when a bus driver lost control after receiving a shocking message from his girlfriend.
She had texted him, telling him she had found another man, leaving him heartbroken and extremely emotional.
The driver reportedly cried loudly in front of the passengers. He revealed how he had done everything for his girlfriend, even selling some of his property to make her happy.
“I gave her everything she wanted,” he sobbed, as the passengers watched in shock.
The situation quickly turned dangerous when the driver began threatening to end his life. He started driving recklessly, swerving dangerously on the busy road, vowing to crush the bus.
Passengers screamed in fear, trying desperately to calm him down as the vehicle sped out of control.
Thankfully, traffic officers arrived in time. They managed to stop the bus safely, and no one was hurt. The driver was arrested and taken into custody.
Authorities said they would investigate the incident to prevent such dangerous situations in the future.
