Very Wrong: Vihiga Woman Sparks Buzz Online After Her Behavior Towards Her Grandfather as She Asks Him for Ksh 1,000 for a Salon Visit

Kenyans on social media have reacted strongly after a photo of a young woman from Vihiga County went viral online. The photo shows the lady being carried by her elderly grandfather as she allegedly begged him to give her Ksh 1,000 to go to the salon. 

The image quickly spread across different platforms, leaving many people talking about it and sharing different opinions.

According to information circulating online, the incident happened after the grandfather had reportedly sold a cow. It is said that after selling the animal, the old man went to rest in his bedroom.

A few moments later, his granddaughter entered the room and sat on him while asking for money to do her hair. The action shocked many social media users who felt that it was not the right way to approach an elderly person, especially a grandparent.

Many Kenyans who commented on the photo said that young people should respect their elders at all times. Some felt that even if she needed money, she should have asked in a polite and respectful way. 

Others said that grandparents deserve honor and dignity, and such behavior shows a lack of good upbringing.

However, a few people also defended the lady, saying that the situation might have been misunderstood and that social media users should not judge too quickly based on just one picture.
