MP Masara Visits Family of Slain KMTC Student Sheryl Adhiambo, Calls for Justice

Suna West MP Peter Masara on Thursday, February 26, visited the family of Sheryl Adhiambo following her tragic death in Huruma, Nairobi.

In a message shared on his social media pages, Masara expressed sympathy to the grieving family and emphasized the need for justice.

“Standing in solidarity with the family of Jared Anyumba Owino in Ragana–Oruba Ward following the tragic and sudden loss of the young Sheryl Adhiambo,” he wrote.
“May God grant the family strength and comfort during this painful time. We'll make sure that justice is served.”

Struck by Stray Bullet

Sheryl Adhiambo, a 21-year-old first-year student at Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), was reportedly struck by a stray bullet during a police pursuit of a suspected criminal in Huruma Ngei I on Saturday night.

Details surrounding the incident remain unclear, with authorities yet to release a comprehensive account of the events that led to the shooting.
