Speaking on Tuesday, Bomet Women Representative Joyce Korir revealed that the government has planned to take strong action against Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. According to Korir, the move is aimed at dealing with them “once and for all.”
In a statement, Korir allegedly said that soon, the voices of Gachagua and Kalonzo will no longer be heard in public.
She claimed that their involvement in serious scandals has caused suffering for many Kenyans, and now it is time for them to face the consequences.
Korir reportedly accused the two leaders of being involved in a major financial scandal linked to the NHIF, which she claims led to its collapse.
She said that because of this blunder, the government is preparing to arrest them and ensure they face jail time.
She added that those who have been supporting Kalonzo and Gachagua should consider shifting their loyalty to President William Ruto, as the two leaders are expected to be out of public life while they serve a long sentence.
Korir’s remarks have sparked reactions online, with Kenyans expressing shock and concern over the possibility of such high-profile arrests. Many are now waiting to see how the government will proceed with these claims.
