Drama in Kakamega as Two Mad Men Storm Police Station, Butcher One Officer; Other Runs Into Hiding for Safety


There was panic at Musanda Police Station in Kakamega County after two men believed to be mentally unstable attacked officers at the station. The shocking incident caused fear among police officers and residents in the area.

According to reports, the two men stormed the station while armed with a panga. They allegedly attacked officers who were on duty without warning. In the confusion that followed, one officer was fatally injured and died at the scene.

Other officers, including the Officer Commanding Station (OCS), reportedly ran into hiding to protect themselves from the attackers.

The situation created chaos as people nearby tried to understand what was happening.

It is further reported that the two suspects managed to access some offices inside the station. 

They allegedly stole two firearms and other items before escaping on a motorcycle. Their escape has raised serious security concerns among residents.

Police have since launched investigations into the incident. A manhunt is currently underway as officers search for the suspects. 

Authorities have urged members of the public to remain calm and to report any information that may help in tracking down the attackers.

The incident has left many residents in shock as they await more updates from the police.
