“Don't Dare Me”: MP Aladwa Warns Babu Owino and Edwin Sifuna Against Nairobi Rallies, Says City Now Belongs to Ruto

On Friday, MP George Aladwa reportedly sent a strong warning to Embakasi East MP Babu Owino and Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna, telling them they are not allowed to hold any rallies in the county for now.

In a statement, the lawmaker allegedly said that Nairobi now belongs to President William Ruto, and only leaders supporting the President are permitted to organize political gatherings.

Aladwa added that anyone ignoring this directive risks facing serious consequences. According to reports circulating widely on social media, the MP warned that if Babu Owino and Sifuna continue with their planned rallies, he will involve the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to ensure they are stopped.

He said their gatherings could spread false information aimed at confusing Kenyans and dividing supporters of President Ruto.

This statement has stirred mixed reactions online, with some Kenyans questioning whether a single MP can restrict other elected leaders from holding political events in their own constituencies.

Others argue that Aladwa’s warning reflects rising political tensions in the capital ahead of upcoming campaigns.

As Nairobi gears up for more political activity, citizens and leaders alike are watching closely to see how this warning will play out and whether law enforcement will act on it.

The situation highlights the growing rivalry among political leaders in the city, making the coming weeks crucial for Nairobi’s political landscape.
