Breaking News: DCI Responds After Susan Nakhumicha Raises Allegations Against Governor Natembeya

Former Health Cabinet Secretary Susan Nakhumicha made headlines on Friday after publicly raising serious allegations against Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya.

In her statement, Nakhumicha claimed that the governor had allegedly hired a group of youths with a plan to embarrass her in public.

She further claimed that there was a scheme to humiliate and mistreat her. The former CS said the situation had made her feel unsafe and concerned about her personal security.

According to Nakhumicha, her safety was at risk and she called on the relevant authorities to take action. She urged investigations into what she described as a serious and dangerous plot against her. Her remarks quickly spread online, sparking mixed reactions from Kenyans on social media.

However, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has now allegedly responded to the claims. According to a report shared by an unverified online source, the DCI advised the former CS to formally file a complaint at the nearest DCI offices.

The agency reportedly stated that once an official complaint is filed, proper investigations can begin.

By the time of publishing this report, there had been no official public statement directly confirming the claims from Governor Natembeya.
This is a developing story, and more updates are expected as authorities review the matter.
