Prophet Owuor Claims He Foretold US Intervention in Venezuela

Controversial Kenyan preacher Prophet David Owuor has claimed that he foresaw the recent US intervention in Venezuela, saying the revelation came to him weeks before the dramatic turn of events that saw President Nicolás Maduro detained.

According to Owuor, he received the prophecy on November 16, 2025, a day before leaving Venezuela after a visit in which he was hosted by senior government officials.

In a video circulating online, the preacher narrates a vivid vision in which former US President Donald Trump was seen clearing land in Venezuela and positioning a presidential vehicle there—an act Owuor interpreted as a symbol of American control.

He further claimed that Trump declared the land ready for development after parking what Owuor referred to as “the beast,” a term commonly associated with the US presidential limousine.

Owuor says he relayed the message to Venezuelan authorities, church leaders, and media representatives while still in Caracas.

The claims have gained renewed attention following Maduro’s arrest by US forces in early January 2026, an outcome that sharply contrasts with Owuor’s earlier public prayers in which he declared that the Venezuelan leader would remain unharmed.

During the visit, Maduro had reportedly honored the Kenyan preacher with a state award in recognition of his religious influence in Latin America.

The unfolding events have triggered mixed reactions. Supporters argue that Owuor’s vision aligns with the current geopolitical developments, while critics point to the apparent contradiction between his prophecy and the president’s eventual capture, raising questions about the preacher’s credibility.

Owuor has linked the situation to biblical warnings of global conflict, citing scripture that speaks of wars and rising tensions among nations. He maintains that his message was ultimately a call for national repentance rather than political prediction.

Meanwhile, the preacher continues to face scrutiny in Kenya, where authorities are investigating unverified miracle-healing claims associated with his ministry.

Government officials have warned that individuals promoting such claims without scientific evidence could face legal consequences.

Despite the controversy, Owuor’s ministry insists it is ready to defend its record, calling for formal audits of healing testimonies and warning against what it describes as misrepresentation by critics.

As debate continues both locally and internationally, questions remain over the authenticity of the prophecy video and whether the preacher’s claims will further strengthen or weaken his already polarizing public image.
