Oketch Salah Steps Out With His Children in Rare Family Moment, Reflects on Faith and Identity

Businessman Oketch Salah on Friday, January 30, shared a rare and intimate family moment after stepping out publicly with his children, offering followers a glimpse into his personal life and family values.

The outing highlighted the importance Salah places on family bonds and cultural heritage. In photos shared on social media, Salah was seen standing at the center, surrounded by his children, who were dressed in traditional attire that reflected unity, modesty, and pride.

Most of the children were dressed in white robes, while one daughter stood out in a modest purple dress paired with a pink hijab. The outdoor setting, marked by bright sunlight and palm trees, added a calm and serene atmosphere to the occasion.

In an emotional caption accompanying the photos, Salah reflected on the significance of the moment.

“This Friday, I am thankful to share a quiet, meaningful moment with my first four children,” he wrote.

He went on to introduce each of the children shown in the photo, explaining their positions and emphasizing the values that guide his family life.

“Family is a trust and faith is its foundation. May Allah guide, protect, and bless our children always. Jumu’ah Mubarak,” Salah added.

The post was well received by his followers, many of whom praised him for prioritizing faith, family, and positive parenting.

Separately, Oketch Salah has in the past addressed public claims regarding his relationship with the Odinga family.

The businessman has maintained that he was referred to as an adopted son by former Prime Minister Raila Odinga during a specific incident, but clarified that he has his own biological father.

Speaking during a recent press briefing, Salah explained that Raila referred to him as an adopted son after entrusting him with delivering a message on his behalf during the burial of former Cabinet Minister Dalmas Otieno.

Salah emphasized that he was raised by his biological father, a businessman based in Migori County, and not by the former Prime Minister. He also clarified that while he has close ties with the Odinga family, those ties should not be misunderstood.
