One of the bodies that were retrieved from a septic tank in Mbale Town, Vihiga County, has been identified as Humphrey Baranga, a resident of Tsimbaro Village in Sabatia Sub County. The identification has brought sadness and grief to the family, friends, and residents of the area.

Humphrey Baranga is said to have gone missing on 24th December 2025. Since then, his whereabouts remained unknown, causing worry among his family members and the community.
Sadly, his lifeless body was later discovered dumped inside a septic tank in Mbale Town, an incident that shocked many residents.
Police officers handling the case have stated that the deceased persons may have been murdered in a different location before their bodies were dumped in the septic tank.
