Breaking News: Cleophas Malala Confirms Rigathi Gachagua Has Been Abducted, Phone Switched Off

DCP Party Leader Cleophas Malala has claimed that former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has been abducted.

Malala spoke shortly after armed goons disrupted a church event attended by Gachagua in Othaya, Nyeri County.

According to Malala, the incident happened suddenly, causing fear and confusion among leaders and members of the public who were present at the event.

In a statement issued after the incident, Malala said that the people who abducted Gachagua switched off his mobile phone.

He added that several attempts to reach him have failed, and as a result, Gachagua’s whereabouts remain unknown.

This has raised serious concern among his supporters and the general public.

Malala further stated that officials from the DCP party have launched a search to try and locate the former deputy president. He urged Kenyans to remain calm but alert and to share any information that could help in finding Gachagua.

He also appealed to security agencies to act quickly and investigate the matter.

So far, there has been no official confirmation from the police regarding the alleged abduction. The situation is still developing, and more details are expected as investigations continue.
