First Lady Rachel Ruto has sent a warm and heartfelt birthday message to President William Ruto, celebrating his life, leadership, and dedication to family.

In her message on Sunday, Rachel thanked God for her husband’s journey and expressed gratitude for the years they have shared.

“My dear Bill, happy birthday! Today, I thank God for the gift of your life, for the journey we have walked together, for your courage in moments of uncertainty, and for the steady love and discipline with which you carry the weight of leadership,” she wrote.

Rachel praised Ruto’s dedication to Kenya, acknowledging the sacrifices he makes as head of state:

“I have seen your heart for Kenya, your tireless commitment to serve, and the quiet sacrifices that often go unseen.”

She also prayed for his health, peace, and renewed strength as he marked another year:

“May God grant you good health, inner peace, and renewed strength. May He surround you with wisdom, protect your steps, and reward your labour with hope for our nation and joy in our family.”

Closing her message, Rachel celebrated him not only as a leader but also as a husband and father:

“With all my love and gratitude, I celebrate you, not only as a leader, a father, and a husband, but as the man God has entrusted to us.”

President Ruto, born on December 21, 1966, in Sambut village, Kamagut, Uasin Gishu County, has been married to Rachel since December 21, 1991. The couple has seven children: Nick, June, Charlene, Stephanie, Cullie, George, and Nadia.

Several leaders also took the opportunity to wish the President a happy birthday. Government Spokesperson Isaac Mwaura prayed for divine guidance and protection for Ruto as the country navigates economic and social challenges.

“May our dear Lord continue to guide and protect you as you serve and lead this great country Kenya,” Mwaura said.

National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula echoed the birthday wishes:

“Happy Birthday President (Dr.) William Ruto. May this year bring you strength, wisdom, and joy as you continue to shape Kenya’s future. Here's to another year of greater leadership, service, and progress for Kenya.”
