Many people would expect to see birds sitting in the branches of a tree. However, in Morocco, it is common to see goats standing high up in trees. Although it may look like a fake or edited picture, this is a real and amazing natural sight.
In the dry and rocky southwestern parts of Morocco, food is often difficult to find on the ground, especially during the hot and dry seasons. Because of this, the goats climb Argan trees in search of food.
Some of them can climb more than 30 feet above the ground to eat the tree's sweet fruits and tender leaves.
These goats are able to climb so well because of their unique body structure. Their split hooves provide a strong grip on the rough bark, while their excellent balance allows them to move carefully along thin branches without falling. GET THE FULL STORY HERE.
