Shocking: Two U.S. Soldiers Comfort Each Other After Army Doctors Refused to Treat Three Badly Burned Iraqi Children Because They Were Muslim

On a sweltering day in June at the Balad Air Base in Iraq, a desperate Iraqi father rushed to an American military facility carrying his three children, who had suffered severe burns. Hoping someone would save their lives, he pleaded with U.S. soldiers for urgent medical assistance.

Moved by the family's distress, Sgt. David J. Borell quickly called for doctors on the base, believing the children would receive immediate treatment. But when two U.S. Army physicians arrived, they reportedly declined to help.
