Doctor Claims the Mouth and Anus Are Made of the Same Tissue, So Technically, Kissing Someone on the Lips Is the Same as Kissing Them Down There

A claim shared by WoW Media says that a doctor explained an unusual connection between the human lips and the anus. According to the claim, both parts of the body are lined with the same type of tissue, known as mucosa, a form of stratified squamous epithelium found at opposite ends of the digestive tract.

The explanation states that because they share this tissue, both areas lack sweat glands. This is said to be one reason why lips can become dry so easily.
