Breaking News: President Reportedly Missing as Opposition Demands Answers

Questions continue to grow over the prolonged absence of Cameroonian President Paul Biya after he reportedly left the country on June 7, 2026, for what the Presidency described as a private visit to Europe. According to government officials, the 93-year-old leader is currently staying in Geneva, Switzerland.

As of July 21, President Biya has been away from Cameroon for more than 44 days and has not made any public appearance since the country's National Day celebrations on May 20, sparking speculation about his whereabouts and health.
