A section of political leaders allied to the UDA party has sparked mixed reactions online after claims emerged suggesting that Kenya’s 2027 General Election could be affected if the Ebola outbreak in neighboring countries continues to spread.

According to the remarks attributed to the politician, he allegedly warned that rising Ebola cases in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Uganda could create fear and panic among citizens, making it difficult to conduct peaceful and fair elections.
