A section of Kenyans has been left talking after a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Member of Parliament allegedly claimed that there is growing support for extending President William Ruto's stay in office and postponing the 2027 General Election.
Speaking shortly after the Finance Bill 2026 was passed by the National Assembly on Thursday night, the MP reportedly stated that he has been receiving numerous calls from Kenyans urging leaders to consider extending the presidential term limit from the current constitutional provision.
