In a video, she recounts how she was at a shopping mall in Nairobi buying back-to-school items when she unexpectedly met a friend she had not seen for more than a year.
The two decided to catch up over coffee at Java House, where they sat and placed their order. Moments later, the friend excused herself to go to the restroom but ended up taking much longer than expected.
Growing uneasy and short on time, the woman started drinking her coffee and chose to call her friend to check on her.
To her surprise, a man picked up the call. Assuming the phone had been stolen, she quickly ended the call, but the man called back shortly after.
He identified himself as the husband of her friend and delivered shocking news, stating that his wife had died in a road accident and had been buried three months earlier.
The revelation left her deeply shaken, as she insisted she had just been sitting with the same person moments before. She later checked her friend’s social media accounts, which confirmed the reported death and burial.
Still confused, she asked a waitress whether she had been accompanied, and the waitress confirmed seeing her with another woman, even describing her clothing in detail.
Since the incident, the woman says she has been disturbed, experiencing unusual dreams and elevated blood pressure that now requires medical attention.
The viral video has triggered mixed reactions online, with some people suggesting the death may have been staged for insurance fraud, while others believe the story is fabricated.
