ODM leader Oburu Odinga has reappeared after about two weeks out of the public spotlight, with the party maintaining that he is healthy and still in the country. WATCH THE VIDEO HERE.
In a video shared on Friday, May 8, he confirmed he is fine, saying he is in Kisumu enjoying time with friends and playing golf, and even wished Kenyans a good weekend.
ODM communications director Philip Etale also dismissed rumours of illness or foreign medical travel, insisting Oburu is well, active, and will appear publicly on Saturday.
Etale further noted that claims of him being incapacitated or absent from leadership duties were false, adding that he remains fully in charge of party affairs ahead of the 2027 elections.
