President William Ruto's tour in Lang’ata on Tuesday took an unexpected twist after a shocking incident occurred. A person in the crowd allegedly threw a strange object towards the president, and it almost hit him on the head. WATCH THE VIDEO HERE.

The moment caused panic among people who were present, as such an act is rare and dangerous, especially during a public event involving the head of state.

According to a video that is now widely circulating on social media, the president was walking calmly while greeting residents. He was accompanied by Lang’ata Member of Parliament Jalang’o and members of his security team.

Everything seemed normal until the object suddenly came flying towards him. The security officers quickly reacted, and luckily, the object missed him by a very close distance.

Reports indicate that if the object had hit the president, it could have caused serious injury. This has raised concerns about security during public tours and how such an incident was able to happen despite the presence of trained officers.

Many Kenyans have strongly condemned the act, calling it disrespectful and dangerous. Some have urged citizens to always respect the office of the president, regardless of political differences.

Others have called for a thorough investigation to identify the person responsible and ensure they are arrested and punished according to the law.

The incident has sparked debate online, with many people questioning safety measures during such events.
