As reported by one of the media houses, a young woman identified only as Kawira, a TikToker, has opened up about some of the challenges she has faced in life.
In her interview, she revealed that things have not been easy for her and that she has gone through moments that left her feeling betrayed and hurt.
Kawira shared her story to let people know what she has been through and to highlight the struggles she faces behind the scenes.
Speaking during an interview with Tuko journalists, Kawira claimed that she was once insulted by a top preacher while she was inside his car. The incident, she explained, happened when the preacher had offered her a lift.
"I never expected such behavior from someone who is supposed to guide people spiritually. I felt scared and humiliated," she said.
According to Kawira, the situation shocked her because she had trusted the preacher and had no reason to think he could act in such a way.
Kawira went on to add that before she could reach her destination, the preacher allegedly began beating her and almost tried to remove her clothes inside the car.
She explained that he seemed to want to display power and show his influence over her, which left her feeling terrified and helpless.
"I could not understand why someone I thought was good could turn so cruel. That moment changed my life forever," she said.
She further revealed that this was not the only time she had been hurt by people she trusted. Kawira said she has had several friends who used her and then abandoned her when she needed support the most.
"I have learned that some people appear good on the outside but can be very cruel when they get a chance. I just hope my story will make others more careful," she said
