On Wednesday, fans of a popular gospel artist were left heartbroken after news emerged that the musician had been killed inside his apartment. The shocking incident has left many people in deep sorrow and confusion about what could have led to such a tragic death.
According to reports from residents who live in the same apartment block, they started noticing a very bad and unusual smell coming from the artist’s room.
At first, they thought it was a small issue, but the smell continued to get stronger. This made them suspicious, and they quickly decided to report the matter to the police.
When police officers arrived at the scene, they found the door locked from the inside. After several attempts to get a response and no success, they were forced to break the door in order to gain access to the room.
Inside the apartment, officers discovered the lifeless body of the gospel artist lying on the bed. The body was already in a bad state, showing signs that it had started decomposing.
The deceased was identified as Jacob Mutry, a Ghanaian gospel singer known for songs that encouraged faith and protection, including one titled “Protect Me God.”
His body was later moved to the mortuary as investigations began immediately to determine who was responsible for the killing and the circumstances surrounding his death.
