Matiang’i Opens Jubilee Office in Gatundu South, Promises Leadership That Listens to Kenyans

Fred Matiang’i, the deputy leader of the Jubilee Party, officially opened a new party office in Gatundu South on Friday, April 17, 2026.

The office, located at Wara House, was opened in the presence of party supporters and local residents. The event is part of Jubilee’s plan to strengthen its presence at the grassroots as the 2027 General Election approaches.

In a message shared online, Matiang’i said he was happy to open the office and later visited a local market where he spoke with traders. He listened to their challenges and said their hard work shows the need to build an economy that benefits all Kenyans.

The new office will help with party activities such as registering members, mobilizing voters, and coordinating local events. Party officials said it will also improve communication between leaders and the community.

This launch is part of a wider Jubilee plan to open more offices across the country. Similar offices have already been set up in areas like Narok, Samburu, Nakuru, Nyeri, and Nyandarua.

The party says these offices will help them connect better with citizens and prepare for the 2027 elections by encouraging more people to register as voters and take part in politics.

The move comes at a time when there are ongoing discussions in the country about voter registration and election preparations.

Jubilee leaders say their goal is to involve more Kenyans and strengthen their support at the local level.
