A man from Homa Bay County, identified as Victor Odhiambo, is currently in serious trouble after he was allegedly caught in a love relationship with a woman said to be a chief’s side chick.
According to reports, Victor was arrested inside a local guest room where he was allegedly spending time with the woman. Before he was handcuffed, he was reportedly beaten by angry individuals, and in the process, he sustained a leg injury.
Police officers at Homa Bay Police Station confirmed the incident and said the suspect is expected to be taken to court. He will be charged with allegedly forcing a woman who is already in a relationship with a local chief into an affair.
However, the case has sparked mixed reactions among residents. A large number of people who know Victor reportedly gathered at the police station demanding his immediate release.
They argued that he did not commit any serious crime, insisting that a “side chick” is not an official wife of the chief and therefore the allegations are unfair.
Authorities are now handling the matter as investigations continue to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the incident and the claims made by both sides.
