On Sunday, a serious drama was witnessed in Nairobi County at Country Bus area after a man was allegedly attacked by a police officer for recording him while he was on a short personal call.
The incident caused panic among people who were nearby, as it happened in a busy place where many travelers pass through daily.
According to eyewitnesses, the police officer became very angry after noticing the man recording him. He reportedly questioned the man and asked him why he was filming him and whether they were related in any way.
The situation quickly became tense, drawing attention from people around.
It is alleged that the officer then used his firearm, an AK-47 rifle, to hit the man several times on the head. The man immediately fell to the ground and lost consciousness. People nearby were shocked by the level of force used during the confrontation.
The incident attracted a large crowd, but the officer reportedly left the scene quickly, leaving the injured man lying on the ground.
Bystanders rushed to help the victim and tried to wake him up before seeking medical assistance.
