Sad as Vihiga Lady Dies in Hospital Together with Her Unborn Child After Abuse by Her Boss from Karen and Her Children


A tragic incident unfolded at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) in Nairobi, where a woman from Vihiga County lost her life along with her unborn child. The 8-month pregnant woman reportedly died after facing severe abuse from her employer, a woman from Karen, and her children.

According to reports, the woman had been working as a housemaid for the family when the incident happened. The trouble began when she accidentally dropped a Thamos flask, which allegedly angered her boss and the children. 

What followed shocked many, as the pregnant woman was reportedly assaulted brutally. Eyewitnesses say the boss allegedly stabbed the woman in the stomach and, together with her children, dragged her outside while she cried in pain. 

The victim was immediately rushed to KNH, where doctors confirmed that she had passed away along with her unborn baby.

The story has sparked outrage across Kenya. Many citizens have taken to social media to express their anger and demand swift action from the authorities. 

Calls for justice have intensified, with people urging the government to arrest the suspects and ensure that such acts of violence do not go unpunished.

This tragedy highlights the vulnerability of domestic workers and raises serious concerns about their safety and protection in households. 

Kenyans are now demanding stricter enforcement of laws to prevent abuse and ensure justice for victims like the late Vihiga lady.
