Sad as Police Arrest Woman While She Was Breastfeeding, Baby Reportedly Hit on the Head With a Gun and Left on the Ground


In Kisii County, a sad incident has sparked anger and debate on social media after a woman was reportedly arrested by police officers while she was breastfeeding her child. 

According to information shared by several sources online, the woman, said to be around 30 years old, was arrested by a group of officers who accused her of selling alcohol in the area.

Reports indicate that the officers arrived in the area and confronted the woman at her home. At that moment, the mother was reportedly breastfeeding her young baby.

Witnesses claimed that the officers insisted on arresting her immediately despite her explaining that she was feeding the child.

As the situation became tense, the officers allegedly forced the woman into a police Land Cruiser. During the process, it is reported that one of the officers accidentally hit the baby on the head with a gun. The child then fell to the ground as the mother was pushed into the vehicle.

Residents who were watching the incident said the officers quickly left the area with the woman and did not check on the baby. The child was reportedly picked up by concerned residents who rushed him to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

The incident has caused anger among locals, with many residents defending the arrested woman. According to some of them, the woman is a widow who survives by washing clothes for people in the village to earn money for daily needs. They claimed she does not sell alcohol as alleged.

Many people online have called for authorities to investigate the incident to establish what exactly happened and ensure justice is served.
