In Kisii County, there was shock and sadness after a local pastor, Peter Nyahora, who was well known in the region, reportedly died after a suspected snake bite while he was in a bush area with a married woman.
According to reports, the pastor was in the bush with the woman when the incident happened. The woman later told authorities that they were talking about their personal relationship and planning how she would leave her husband so that she could marry the pastor.
