Residents of Kimweni village woke up to a very shocking and painful incident on Tuesday morning. The quiet village was filled with fear and sadness after news spread about a tragic discovery inside the home of a well-known school principal.
According to reports, the principal, Mr. Mark Egwosh, and his wife, Mrs. Stela Egwosh, were found dead in their house. Their bodies were discovered lying on their bed in a pool of blood.
The scene left many neighbors in deep shock, as the couple was known to be peaceful and respected in the community.
Reports further say that the housemaid, who survived the attack, is currently receiving treatment in hospital. While speaking from her hospital bed, she shared the painful details of what happened that night.
She explained that at around 3:30 a.m., a group of masked men broke into the house. She said she was the first person they attacked. The situation quickly became violent, leaving her seriously injured.
The housemaid added that during the attack, she heard the principal’s wife screaming for help. However, she was already in a very weak condition and could not do anything to assist. She also noted that the attackers did not take any items from the house, which has raised many questions among residents.
There are also unconfirmed reports that the couple’s children are missing, and it is feared they may have been taken during the incident. This has increased worry and tension in the area, as families hope for their safe return.
As of now, authorities in Ghana have not yet released an official statement regarding the attack. Investigations are expected to begin as the community waits for answers and justice for the victims.
