On Thursday, a tragic road accident occurred in Eldoret, leaving a school principal and her husband dead after they were involved in a serious crash while heading home.
According to reports, the couple was travelling together and had shared a tender moment inside the car. It is said that they were not fully focused on the road at that time, which led to a serious mistake. Their vehicle reportedly lost control and hit a truck from behind with a very strong impact.
Witnesses and early reports suggest that the two may have been driving under the influence of alcohol. It is believed that they ignored some traffic rules along the way and managed to pass traffic officers without being stopped.
The accident happened very fast, and there was no chance for quick rescue that could save their lives. Both of them died on the spot due to the heavy impact of the crash.
Their bodies were later taken to the local mortuary as police officers started investigations to find out the exact cause of the accident.
Authorities have since warned all drivers to be very careful, especially on busy roads. They reminded motorists to avoid distractions, follow traffic rules, and never drink and drive, saying that many lives are lost due to careless driving.
