A woman from Nairobi identified as Ayoo Mageni is mourning deeply after receiving heartbreaking news that her daughter had passed away.
According to reports published by a local media house on Friday, the mother was even more shocked to learn that her daughter was already buried without her being informed or given any consent.
She said the news hit her like a heavy blow, leaving her completely shattered. Ayoo explained that she could not come to terms with the fact that her only child—the daughter she had raised with love, sacrifice, and dedication—was gone and laid to rest without her being present or notified.
She further shared that the child’s father, who had been absent from their lives for years, suddenly reappeared and requested to see the girl. Believing it was right for the child to connect with her father, she allowed the visit.
However, what followed was a tragic turn of events. Ayoo said that after the daughter went to see her father, she later became ill and eventually died.
“When my daughter went to see him, she later fell sick and passed away. I only found out when it was already too late,” she said painfully.
The grieving mother also accused the father of failing to inform her when the girl’s condition worsened. She questioned why she was kept in the dark during such a critical moment.
She said she only learned about her daughter’s death after everything had already happened, leaving her no chance to support her or say goodbye.
Ayoo added that the pain of losing her only child, combined with not witnessing her burial, has left her emotionally broken and struggling to cope with the loss.
