Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has announced the resumption of the Linda Mwananchi movement tour, bringing the political initiative back into the spotlight after a short hiatus.
The Narok edition is scheduled for Sunday, March 22, 2026, at OCovenant Church International (CCI) in Ntulele, Narok Town. The day-long program will begin with a church service from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, followed by a mega rally from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
In a social media post, Sifuna encouraged supporters to participate, emphasizing both spiritual reflection and political engagement. He wrote, “Update ya kesho…Misa kama kawa tuweke hii Movement mbele ya God…alafu kiwanja. Kuna mtu hajui Narok ni wapi?”
The event aims to energize supporters, provide updates on the movement, and reinforce grassroots participation ahead of the next election cycle. Sifuna urged citizens, particularly in Narok, to register via the online platform to ensure their involvement in the movement.
The Linda Mwananchi movement, spearheaded by Sifuna, positions itself as a counterweight within Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), rallying supporters who seek to influence the party’s direction and upcoming political contests.
The initiative is designed to complement physical caravan visits and gauge grassroots support ahead of the 2027 general election.
The tour follows a brief pause after the Kakamega rally, which attracted massive crowds and highlighted the movement’s growing influence within ODM.
