A man from Nyeri County identified as Mark Mujinga Kanethe has expressed deep gratitude to his wife’s Chinese boss for continuing to support his family financially months after his wife gave birth.
The man said the kind gesture from the employer has brought great relief to their family during a time when they needed help the most.
Speaking in a statement, the grateful man explained that when his wife became pregnant, he did not expect that help would come from her employer.
According to him, life was not easy during that period, and he often prayed that God would open a way for them.
He said he now believes that God answered his prayers through the Chinese boss who has continued to show kindness to his wife even after she delivered their baby six months ago.
Kanethe further revealed that the employer assured him that his wife would be promoted in the company after completing her maternity leave.
He said the boss also promised that he would help him get a job so that the couple could work near each other. The promise has given the young family hope for a better future.
The Nyeri man said he feels very happy and thankful because such support is rare. He added that he is patiently waiting for the day he will also be employed in the same company where his wife works.
He ended by sending a heartfelt message of appreciation to the boss, saying, “Mungu akubariki sana,” which means “May God bless you very much,” for standing with his family during an important time in their lives.
