‘Huyu Ni Mzigo tu Kwangu’: Father Allegedly Abandons His Physically Disabled Child on the Street in the Rain

In Nairobi CBD, a kind man has stepped in to care for a child who is physically disabled after the boy was allegedly abandoned by his father. The heartbreaking incident has left many Kenyans sad and concerned for the welfare of the child.

According to reports circulating on social media, the child’s father reportedly told people that the boy was a burden to him. 

He allegedly said that caring for the child prevented him from going to work and earning money to support the family. Instead of seeking help, the father reportedly left the child on the streets, exposing him to the heavy rain and harsh conditions.

The father is said to have told people that he will return for the child in the future when his condition improves. For now, he claimed he needed to focus on keeping his job and could not afford to stay home to care for his son. 

His words, however, have sparked outrage among Kenyans, with many questioning how a parent could abandon their own child in such circumstances.

Thankfully, the child has now been taken under the care of a compassionate man who is providing shelter and support. Kenyans are being urged to come together to help the child, offering love, care, and resources to ensure he grows up in a safe environment. 

The story serves as a reminder of the importance of community support and compassion, especially for children facing challenges beyond their control.
