"Huyu Napiga Kupiga": Sad as 7-Month Pregnant Woman Faints After Being Handcuffed and Assaulted by Female Kanjo Officer for Spitting on the Road

In Thika, a town in Thika, a disturbing incident was reported on Saturday morning after a 7-month pregnant woman was allegedly assaulted by a female Kanjo officer for spitting on the road.

According to reports, the incident started when the pregnant woman was accused by the county enforcement officer of spitting saliva on a public road.

The woman tried to explain herself politely, saying that she did not do anything wrong and that she was only standing by the roadside.

However, things quickly escalated when the officer reportedly became aggressive and started slapping her repeatedly.

In a viral video circulating online, the pregnant woman can be seen speaking calmly while trying to defend herself, but the Kanjo officer suddenly moves toward her and begins attacking her.

The situation became more tense as other male officers at the scene allegedly stood by without intervening or stopping the assault.

As the confrontation continued for a long time, the pregnant woman eventually became weak and fainted due to the stress and physical assault. Instead of receiving immediate medical help, she was reportedly handcuffed while unconscious.

Witnesses further claim that while she was still fainted, the officers placed her in handcuffs and dragged her into a waiting vehicle before driving away.

This action has caused outrage among members of the public who have watched the video and condemned the incident.

Many Kenyans on social media are now calling for immediate investigations and disciplinary action against the officers involved.

They are demanding justice for the pregnant woman and urging authorities to ensure that such incidents do not happen again, especially involving vulnerable individuals like expectant mothers.
