Speaking during a live interview, the children of the late vice president Kijana Wamalwa have accused their uncle, Eugene Wamalwa, of unlawfully taking over their father’s property and abandoning them.
In her statement, Michele Chichi, the daughter of the late vice president, revealed that Eugene Wamalwa never cared to support them, not even with basic needs such as food or education.
She said that despite their father’s legacy, they were left to struggle on their own while their uncle enjoyed the property that rightfully belongs to them.
Michele did not hold back as she publicly called Eugene Wamalwa “the worst uncle ever,” describing his actions as inhuman and evil. She said it was painful to see a close family member show such greed and disregard for his own relatives.
She added that the family now lives in poverty because the property, which could have supported them, was taken away. This, she said, has left them with no choice but to rely on the kindness of others.
Their story has sparked a strong reaction on social media, with many Kenyans expressing anger and disappointment at Eugene Wamalwa’s alleged actions.
Users called for justice and urged the politician to do the right thing by helping his late brother’s children.
