Edwin Sifuna Faces Tough Political Choice as Claims Emerge He May Join Gachagua’s Camp or Run for President

The ousted ODM Secretary General, Edwin Sifuna, is reportedly facing a crucial political decision as new claims emerge about his possible next move ahead of the upcoming general elections.

According to Esther Passaris, the Nairobi Senator may soon have to decide whether to join the United Opposition associated with former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua or pursue a presidential bid on his own.

Passaris, who serves as the Nairobi Woman Representative, suggested that the outspoken senator could either align himself with the opposition coalition led by Gachagua ahead of the August general elections or choose to contest independently.

The speculation comes shortly after Sifuna indicated that he is open to working with the United Opposition in a broader effort to challenge the leadership of President William Ruto in the next polls.

Sifuna’s recent remarks have sparked political debate, with observers closely watching whether he will formally join Gachagua’s camp or chart his own path by seeking the presidency.

For now, supporters and political analysts are waiting for the Nairobi senator to clearly state his political direction and confirm whether he will join the opposition alliance or enter the race as a presidential candidate.
