Charles Hinga Showcases 35kg Weight Loss Journey

Housing Principal Secretary Charles Hinga is drawing attention not only for his work in government but also for a remarkable personal transformation.

Hinga has revealed that he has lost 35 kilograms within a year of his appointment. Once weighing 120 kilograms, he now stands at 85 kilograms, a change he attributes to discipline and a renewed focus on his health.

He shared details of his journey while attending an event at Alliance High School alongside President William Ruto.

According to Hinga, the President encouraged him to take his health seriously when he assumed office. The advice became a challenge he chose to embrace fully.

Since stepping into the Housing docket, Hinga has managed tight schedules while adopting strict fitness routines and dietary adjustments. Colleagues within government circles have praised his commitment, noting that balancing public service with personal goals is not easy.

His transformation has also sparked conversations online, with many Kenyans expressing admiration for his determination.

Observers say the change highlights the importance of self-care, even for leaders handling demanding national responsibilities.

Beyond physical results, Hinga has emphasized the mental strength required to stay consistent. He believes discipline in personal life strengthens performance in professional roles.

The renewed energy, he says, has sharpened his focus in delivering housing programs under the current administration.

At the Alliance High School event, many noticed the visible difference. A fitter and more energetic Hinga stood alongside the President, reflecting confidence and readiness to drive forward development initiatives.

For many young Kenyans following the story, his journey carries a clear message. Leadership does not exclude personal growth. Public responsibility and self-discipline can coexist.

As discussions about national development continue, Hinga’s transformation adds a human touch to government service, showing that change is possible at any stage with commitment and consistency.
