Edwin Sifuna has received a strong warning from a popular bishop ahead of his planned rally in Kakamega County this Sunday.
Bishop Mark Makirar from Busia County has asked the Nairobi senator not to step into Kakamega for the rally.
According to the bishop, he saw a bad vision concerning Sifuna’s visit. He said that if the senator goes ahead with the rally, something serious and dangerous might happen to him.
Speaking to his followers, the bishop urged Sifuna to cancel the rally immediately. He added that by doing so, the senator would not only save himself but also protect his close political allies, including James Orengo and Babu Owino, among others who are expected to attend.
The bishop further explained that in his dream, he saw blood. After seeing the blood, he said God spoke to him and showed him what could happen if the rally takes place. According to him, the message was very clear and serious.
He claimed that God told him if Sifuna holds the rally in Kakamega, he and his colleagues would be arrested and detained there. The bishop warned that none of them would be allowed to leave the county freely.
Bishop Makirar insisted that his role as a man of God is to reveal what he sees before it happens.
He said his prophecies do not fail and urged Sifuna to halt the rally for his own safety.
So far, Sifuna has not publicly responded to the bishop’s warning.
