"You Have Betrayed Raila's Legacy," Oburu Publicly Told as Details Emerge on the Amount of Money Ruto Allegedly Paid Him to Oust Sifuna as ODM SG

Taking to his social media account, one of Kenya’s opposition leaders criticized Oburu Odinga for allegedly allowing Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna to be removed as the ODM Party Secretary General (SG).

The leader said that by doing this, Oburu has betrayed the legacy of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and disappointed Kenyans who believed in the party’s principles.

The leader, who is aligned with former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, claimed that President William Ruto paid Oburu a huge amount of money to ensure Sifuna’s removal.

According to the allegations, Oburu was given 7 million shillings to push Sifuna out of office because he opposed the so-called broad-based government.

He further warned that Sifuna might not be the last. “It is not only Sifuna; many others who stand against this government are at risk of being removed,” he said.

This revelation has sparked anger among ODM supporters, who feel the party’s values are being sold for money.
