Speaking in a serious tone, Gachagua said his wife is innocent and has nothing to do with active politics, yet she is now being dragged into political battles.
According to Gachagua, he received disturbing information from people he described as his “moles” working within State House.
He claimed the information broke his heart and made him deeply fear for the safety and well-being of his wife.
Because of this, he publicly asked Kenyans to stand with him and help protect Pastor Dorcas from any form of harm, harassment, or intimidation.
Gachagua further alleged that the state had hired bloggers to tarnish Pastor Dorcas’ name. He claimed these bloggers were being used to spread disrespectful stories and portray her as a bad woman of God.
He strongly insisted that his wife is a devoted pastor and that such alleged plans would not succeed. He said Kenyans know the truth and would not be easily misled by online propaganda.
The former DP also claimed that these actions were politically motivated. According to him, the government fears his political strength ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He alleged that his wife was being targeted in an attempt to shame, blackmail, or silence him so that he would stop criticizing President William Ruto’s leadership.
Gachagua emphasized that Pastor Dorcas should not be punished for his political stand. He repeated his call for Kenyans to remain vigilant and defend innocent people from being used as tools in political fights.
All these claims, however, remain allegations made by Gachagua and have not been independently verified by the government or other authorities.
